A few months ago, we have been contacted by Sunrise Hotels Group. The inquiry was clear; they were looking for an activity addition, for all day, for all ages. There was only one restriction; the free area was limited. The answer was simple, well-tested and of great success every time. Mini Golf Courses!
Elite Areas has provided 6 Mini Golf Courses, combined with 3 Crazy Golf Courses, in pistachio green. All flags and the Golf-shaped Putter Stand were customized with the hotel’s logo. The installation process took less than an hour whereas visitors are spending many hours since, by daily exploring their mini golf skills.

Pool Golf “Lunch Break” for Attica offices

Elite Areas has provided a Pool Golf Game in the offices of a company in Attica region.
This beginner-friendly game is perfect for anyone wanting to learn either golf or pool for the first time, but challenging enough for experts to enjoy. Employees can either enjoy playing experience during their breaks, cleaning-up their minds, or creating fun memories with their teammates.

Outstanding outdoor fitness area for Attica headquarters
Employees are the core of the intellectual capital in any business and their wellbeing has a serious and direct impact on corporate organization. This was the concept behind our latest project.
Elite Areas has provided MyEquilibria product in the headquarters of a company in Attica region. Close to a state-of-the-art indoor gym, a MyBeast Beach Club in light grey concrete branches and stainless steel stages has been installed, creating a unique place for all employees, offering outdoor fitness experience for them.
Employees can download for free the MyEquilibria App and in a few simple clicks, they can customize their workouts, focusing on targets and muscle groups.
They can choose between Flying Pull-ups, Stall bars &Dip Handles, Multi Pull-ups, Punching bag, Landmine, Sliding Pull-ups and Monkey bars, fully supported and guided, by an impressive library of video exercises, created by some of the world’s top wellness experts.

Lyttopia: An exclusive playground for an exclusive hotel
In Lyttos Beach Hotel and Lyttos Mare Exclusive Beach Resort, two 5-star exclusive family resorts located at Hersonissos that are part of the S Resorts Group hotel chain, guests can take advantage of the sporting and family-friendly offers on more than 20 hectares and escape the stress of everyday life.
As an additional offer for the children, there was a wish for a spacious play area. Three tennis courts in a 1,800 m² area were reconstructed for the new “Lyttopia”.
The newly created area includes a sheltered seating area with a bar and snacks for the little ones, a music garden with percussion instruments, as well as mini golf courses and a 900 m² playground. Client’s desire was to design a playground facility that would be a benchmark for playground facilities in the hotel industry.
Therefore, there was a selection of very high and impressive rope structures, also acting as an attraction beacon, in combination with smaller ones. By this, the play structures are utilized by different age groups, and it is easy to achieve high-simultaneous capacity.
The design approach of “Lyttopia” provides the ability to children to play on their own, along with their parents and/or under the presence of animateurs.

Urban Mirror selected for ADI Design Index 2022
We are happy to announce that the Urban Mirror system, designed by Davide Anzalone and Alberto Mattiello for Metalco, has been selected for the ADI Design Index 2022.
The selection, edited by the Permanent Design Observatory, identifies the best Italian design that stands out for its originality, functional innovation, production processes, materials used, respect for the environment and social utility and presents it in a yearbook, a website and a series of exhibitions.
In addition, the products selected can compete for the XXVIII Compasso d’Oro ADI, the world’s oldest and most authoritative design award.

State-of-the-art outdoor fitness area for all
The Ellinikon Experience Park is the first part of the Ellinikon Park that opened its doors in December 2021, signaling the official beginning of the much anticipated project: “The Ellinikon”.
Built on the site of Athens’ historic airport and next to the three Aviation Hangars, The Ellinikon Experience Park, designed by the architects doxiadis+, is a unique place for everyone.
The modern facilities offer a wide variety of activities for visitors of every age; the spectacular interactive fountain, the amazing Forest Playground, the Zen Garden and the Outdoor Fitness Area.
In cooperation with elite areas, premium calisthenic equipment of MyEquilibria have been installed at the Outdoor Fitness Area. Linking nature and human innovation, characterized by a unique design and cutting-edge production technologies, while focusing on eco-sustainability, MyEquilibria products approach holistically the wellness lifestyle.
The iconic Full Tree, designed by Vito di Bari, constitutes the epitome of “Functional Art for Functional Fitness” motto. The Outdoor Fitness Area is completed with the MyBeast innovative workout system, which brings together the best sports science, functional training and performance driven design, adding 11 more stages. Both areas also include accessories, such as pull-up bars, hooks, battle rope, parallettes, pistols, jump boxes, push-ups.
Visitors can exercise outdoors to get both body and mind moving. Through scanning of the QR code at the totem sign, visitors can download the MyEquilibria App (available in App Store and Google Play for free), and enjoy their fitness routine. A library with over 500 video tutorials, created in collaboration with top trainers, allows users to customize their workouts, focusing on targets and muscle groups, in a few simple clicks.

Urban furniture within a school’s athletic multiSPOT
The Deutsche Schule Athen was founded in 1896. In 2021 the school could realize the first part of the renovation of its outdoor spaces, namely the sports facilities. Mrs Mirto Matala and Katerina Daskalaki were the lead architects that have transformed the old sport facilities into a unique multi-sport professional area, with the assistance of plethron Construction company.
The selection of the urban furniture needed to cover micro-waste disposal requirements was based on high-quality materials, as well as sustainability. The Spencer CP, designed by Alfredo Tasca and produced by Metalco, has met the needs.
The Spencer CP is produced by Metalco, one of the world’s leading companies in manufacturing solutions and products for urban spaces and city projects. Unique design, top-level material selection and production processes, as well as low-maintenance requirements characterize the products of Metalco. The company uses 100% sustainable, certified energy for the production, as more than 7,500 solar panels have been installed on the roofs of the production plants. Thanks to these solar panels, Metalco prevents every year the emission in the atmosphere of approcimate 850 tones of CO2, and avoids to burn approximately 340 tons of oil equivalent.

Πλάκες ή πλήκτρα; Μια ευχάριστη νότα στα Ιωάννινα
Κάθε μέρα από τη Λεωφόρο Δωδώνης περνούν πολλά παιδιά και γονείς, καθώς πηγαίνουν προς το σχολείο τους. Μετά τις διακοπές των Χριστουγέννων, μια έκπληξη περίμενε όλους τους περαστικούς. Πίσω από ένα δέντρο ακούστηκε μια μελωδία να συνοδεύει το βηματισμό. Ήταν μια νέα προσθήκη· ένα μουσικό πιάνο δαπέδου. Τα παιδιά χαμογελώντας πηδούσαν, έτρεχαν, χόρευαν πάνω στα μουσικά πλήκτρα, ενώ μελωδίες καθαρές, με διακριτικούς τόνους, ηχούσαν. Πολλοί ήταν οι μικροί μας φίλοι που έπαιξαν τα κάλαντα των Χριστουγέννων, αποχαιρετώντας έτσι τις γιορτές, και επιστρέφοντας στα σχολεία.
Χαρακτηριστικά προϊόντος:
Το Baby Floor Piano, όπως υποδηλώνει το όνομα, είναι το μικρότερο πιάνο της Percussion Play. Είναι δεδομένο πως μικροί και μεγάλοι θα λατρέψουν τα μηχανικά πλήκτρα δαπέδου. Σχεδιασμένο για απόδοση σε όλα τα περιβάλλοντα, και πλήρως προσβάσιμο σε αναπηρικά αμαξίδια, αυτό τα όργανο θα επιτρέψει στους βιρτουόζους να συνθέσουν τη δική τους μουσική, καθώς πηδούν, τρέχουν ή χορεύουν κατά μήκος στις νότες. Η κατασκευή του από υψηλής αντοχής ανοξείδωτο μέταλλο, προσφέρει αντοχή σε βανδαλισμούς.

A Spaceball was landed on Pareklissia Beach Park
The Park was designed and built in 2021. Mary Pernjak Landscape Architects have transformed an empty bare landscape located in front of Luxury Villas, into a green destination in the area. It stretches out over 125 meters along the beach and connects with the continuing path and bicycle lane that leads into the City.
The concept of the park derives from the natural movement of the water. The central axis is replicating the wave pattern and leads to an organic shaped landscape unusual for common park design in the area. Mary Pernjak Landscape Architects have also used a different planting palette bringing scenes of the Cyprus landscape into a public space. Visitors can observe and explore different planting combination.
The Park’s West corner opens up into a green lawn with a playground area and offers sitting spaces to enjoy the amazing sea view and the skyline of the City of Limassol. Mary Pernjak Landscape Architects have chosen one play equipment, designed and produced by Berliner Seilfabrik GmbH & Co., to offer children unique play experiences with wide varieties of challenges. The Spaceball S allows many children engaging and playing together at the same time, creating fun moments, and developing their motor and social skills.
The success of the Park reflects in the everyday user. It has been integrated into the daily lifestyle of the community as well as of the visitors. You will find people jogging, exercising, strolling and relaxing in the park. The implementation and close collaboration of Mary Pernjak Landscape Architects with the construction company M. A. Turfland & Sons Ltd, fulfilled the development objectives. As a result, green spaces improve quality of life and have a positive impact on citizens’ wellbeing.

Central Park West, Huntington Beach, California

Lying on the beautiful California coast, Huntington Beach started the new year off with the grand opening of a spectacular new playground at Central Park West. In association with the city of Huntington Beach and local Berliner distributer Dave Bang Associates Inc., Berliner created a signature play scape that is truly unique. The breath-taking combination of a huge DNA Tower, a tall Trii treehouse, a challenging PentaBoo, a fast zip line, multiple net tunnels, a Wasp’s Net to relax in and many more other play components has already become a hit for many kids in Huntington Beach!
The overall aesthetic and colour scheme of this project is very captivating. From the Grey Aluminium posts to the bamboo slats on the Trii, Boo and slide along with the Traffic Blue balls and clamps to that bright Lime rope, it has an earthy sense of warmth to it with a hint of industry.
Another great feature on this project is that all the structures are connected so that the whole design of this project flows seamlessly together. It also allows users to start playing at any point in the park and move through it at their own pace.
